A VIP list for your wedding photographer, with a photo of every face

Photo Moments in PlanMe is a private VIP list for your photographer: grandparents, the aunt flying in, your best friend. Add each person with a photo, their relationship to you and a short description. It's kept inside your event for you and the team members you give access, until you export the PDF for your photographer. Free during beta.

  4. 4

    Export the PDF

In detail

How to use Photo Moments at a multi-day wedding

A photographer at a wedding weekend meets hundreds of people across several functions. A list with faces on it helps them find the few who matter most. For the timing side, see our wedding day timeline.

Who to put on the list

Start with the people a photographer can't recognize from a name alone: grandparents, elders from both families, relatives traveling in, close friends and anyone you want a specific shot with. Keep it short enough to be useful on the day. Pair it with the family shot list from our [wedding planning checklist](/articles/wedding-planning-checklist).

What the PDF looks like

The export is titled VIP Guest List and shows your event name, the date you exported it and the total number of people. Each person gets a card with their photo, name, description and relationship. Export again whenever the list changes.

Who sees it

Photo Moments lives inside your event, so guests never see it. Team members see it only if their role includes Photo Moments, and you decide who gets the PDF.

It's a planning list that you and your team keep. It isn't a shared album, and guests don't upload pictures to it.

What should be on a wedding photographer's VIP list?

The people your photographer can't pick out on their own: grandparents and elders, relatives traveling in, your closest friends and anyone you want a particular photo with. A photo of each one helps your photographer spot them in a crowd.

Is a VIP list the same as a family photo shot list?

No. A shot list names the group photos you want, such as both sets of parents together. A VIP list shows the photographer who those people are, with a face, a name and a relationship for each. Send both.

Can guests upload their photos to Photo Moments?

No. It's a planning list for you and your team. You add each person and upload their photo, and guests never see the list.

How do I share the list with my photographer?

Export it as a PDF and send it over. Each person's photo, name, relationship and description are on it, with your event name and the total count at the top.

Can my planner or a cousin help build the list?

Yes. Invite them to your event and give their role access to Photo Moments. Roles are set area by area, so they don't have to see the budget too.

Is Photo Moments free during beta?

Yes. Every PlanMe feature, including Photo Moments, is free during beta, with no credit card needed.
